Sunday Worship Service

FROM 10:00AM

Our week starts with our Sunday worship service.

This is our principle service of the week where we engage in three scripture Bible based teaching followed by our weekly celebration of the Eucharist, which is also known as ‘Holy Communion’ or ‘The Lord’s Supper’. It is a liturgically-shaped, creative service informed by modern-sung worship. Children are always, always welcome.

If you’re unable to join us in person, you are warmly welcome to ‘Join Us Live Online’ or ‘Catch Up on Youtube’.

Sunday Fellowship

from 11:30am

Fellowship is an important part of our Christian life together. It follows the Sunday Worship Service and is a time for us to ‘gather and get to know’ each other over a hot drink and the occasional slice of cake. If you are new or newish to St Nicholas you will soon discover that we are never short of food or warm welcome.

Online Prayer & Bible Study

MONDAY 12:00PM-1:00PM

TUESDAY 9:00AM-9:30AM

WEDNESDAY 8:30PM-9:00PM

We gather online to pray, read and discuss the Bible drawing  on the Church of England’s Common Worship Lectionary.

On Mondays at midday, we meet to discuss the readings from the previous Sunday service in-depth and to pray together for the week ahead.

On Tuesdays at 9am, and on Wednesdays at 8.30pm we meet to pray together and explore some of the supplementary lectionary readings that help us make wider connections to the overarching story of the Bible. In these sessions we share in a Morning Prayer and either Evening or Night Prayer.

My Brother’s Keeper

Tuesdays, 7:00pm-9:00pm

My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) is a space for men of 18+ who would appreciate a safe space in which issues of male health and wellbeing (physical, mental and spiritual) - can be explored alongside issues of faith, culture, community and connection.

Although there will be a wide range of life experiences within the group the sessions and language have been tailored to focus on people who are comfortable with being described or generalised as ‘men' or 'male’
